By order of May 25, 2000 the application for leave to appeal from the May 19, 2000 decision of the Court of Appeals was held in abeyance pending the decision in People v Daoud (Docket No. 113994). On order of the Court, the decision having been issued on July 20, 2000, 462 Mich. 621 (2000), the application is again considered, and, pursuant to MCR 7.302(F)(1), in lieu of granting leave to appeal, we REMAND this case to the Oakland County Circuit Court for reconsideration in light of Daoud.

We VACATE the stay of proceedings entered by our order dated May 25, 2000.
