People v. Jarges

Supreme Court of Michigan
Nov 22, 1996
453 Mich. 952 (Mich. 1996)

Opinion

No. 102458.

November 22, 1996.

Summary Dispositions November 22, 1996:

In lieu of granting leave to appeal, the judgment of the Court of Appeals is vacated, and the case is remanded to that Court for reconsideration in light of People v Mezy, 453 Mich. 269 (1996) and, if necessary, defendant's other issues. MCR 7.302(F)(1). Should either party promptly attempt to file a supplemental brief, or a motion contending that a remand to the trial court for proceedings related to this Court's decision in Mezy would promote judicial economy, the Court of Appeals is to permit such a filing. Jurisdiction is not retained.

Court of Appeals No. 151876.
