The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v. Donnell Jackson, Defendant-Appellant.


An appeal having been taken to this Court from the judgment of the Supreme Court, New York County, rendered on or about April 27, 2017, And defendant-appellant having moved for an order to unseal the minutes of a sealed witness examination conducted during defendant's trial, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon,It is ordered that the motion is granted to the extent of directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court, New York County, to have transcribed and delivered under seal for an in camera inspection by this Court, a copy of the aforesaid minutes, within 30 days of the service of this order, for a determination by the appeals bench as to whether the minutes should be unsealed.
