The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v. Miguel Guity, Defendant-Appellant.


An order of this Court having been entered on August 28, 2014, (M-1724), granting defendant leave to prosecute, as a poor person, the appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Bronx County, rendered on or about September 24, 2013, and assigning Richard M. Greenberg, Esq., predecessor chief counsel at the Office of The Appellate Defender, to Christina Swarns, Esq., as counsel to prosecute the appeal; and a motion having been made to relieve such counsel, and for related relief, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon, It is ordered that the appeal is granted to the extent of deeming the appeal withdrawn, and is otherwise denied.
