Attorney Regulation.

The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended William T. Griffin (Attorney Registration Number 28650) for a period of three years, effective September 10, 2011. Griffin repeatedly spent client funds that did not belong to him, repeatedly misrepresented to clients that he was in the process of refunding fees that did not belong to him, and repeatedly moved money between his trust, personal, and business accounts to cover his issuance of checks that could not and would not clear. Griffin also failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness. His misconduct constitutes grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 1.3, 1.4(a) and (b), 1.5(a) and (b), 1.5(f), 1.15(a), (b), and (c), 1.16(d), and 8.4(c).
