Jun 12, 2000
273 A.D.2d 321 (N.Y. App. Div. 2000)

Opinion

June 12, 2000.

Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Nassau County (LaPera, J.), rendered March 31, 1998, convicting him of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, upon his plea of guilty, and imposing sentence.

Bracken, J.P., Joy, Thompson, Goldstein and Feuerstein, JJ., concur.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

We have reviewed the record and agree with the defendant's assigned counsel that there are no nonfrivolous issues which could be raised on appeal. Counsel's application for leave to withdraw as counsel is granted ( see, Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738; People v. Paige, 54 A.D.2d 631; cf., People v. Gonzalez, 47 N.Y.2d 606).
