Opinion

No. 116935.

January 17, 2001.

COA: 222390, Wayne CC: 94-000973.

On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal from the May 4, 2000 decision of the Court of Appeals is considered, and we DIRECT the Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney to file an answer, within 28 days after the date of this order, focusing on the allegation that the witness, Joe Twilley, lied at trial about the reason he was released early from prison and should explain whether the prosecutor knew that Twilley had received a sentence reduction due to his cooperation with police.

The application remains under consideration.
