YEGAN, J.
David Vincent Garcia appeals from the judgment entered after a jury convicted him of transportation of marijuana. (Health & Saf. Code, § 11360, subd. (a).) Based on an anonymous tip, officers saw marijuana plants in a van, saw appellant drive away in the van, and stopped appellant in Camarillo. The officers found 16 potted marijuana plants in the van. Appellant told the officers that he had transported the plants from San Fernando Valley and that the marijuana was for personal use and to distribute to friends.
The trial court suspended imposition of sentence, granted probation with 180 days county jail, and ordered appellant to pay fines, penalty assessments and fees totaling $987.
We appointed counsel to represent appellant in this appeal. After counsel's examination of the record, counsel filed an opening brief raising no issues.
On September 3, 2008, we advised appellant that he had 30 days within which to personally submit any contentions or issues that he wished to raise on appeal. We have not received a response.
We have reviewed the entire record and are satisfied that appellant's attorney has fully complied with her responsibilities and that no arguable issue exists. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436, 441.)
The judgment is affirmed.
