THE PEOPLE, Plaintiff and Respondent, v. DEANNA LASHAW DORSEY, Defendant and Appellant.
In case No. CRF00364, defendant Deanna Lashaw Dorsey pled guilty to embezzlement by the caretaker of a dependent or elder adult. In exchange, a count of drawing or uttering a check with intent to defraud was dismissed, and an unrelated case (No. CRF01131) was dismissed with a Harvey waiver.
In case No. CRF02338, defendant pled guilty to failure to appear for felony court proceedings.
Defendant was sentenced to state prison for four years eight months; awarded three days of custody credit in case No. CRF00364; awarded 33 days of custody credit and 16 days of conduct credit in case No. CRF02338; ordered to make restitution to her victims; and ordered to pay a $200 restitution fine and a $200 restitution fine suspended unless parole is revoked.
We appointed counsel to represent defendant on appeal. Counsel filed an opening brief that sets forth the facts of the case and requests this court to review the record and determine whether there are any arguable issues on appeal. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436.) Defendant was advised by counsel of the right to file a supplemental brief within 30 days of the date of filing of the opening brief. More than 30 days elapsed, and we received no communication from defendant. Having undertaken an examination of the entire record, we find no arguable error that would result in a disposition more favorable to defendant.
DISPOSITION
The judgment is affirmed.
We concur: BLEASE, Acting P.J., RAYE, J. --------------- Notes: People v. Harvey (1979) 25 Cal.3d 754.
