People v. Crespo

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, Second Department
Jun 10, 1996
228 A.D.2d 515 (N.Y. App. Div. 1996)

Opinion

June 10, 1996

Appeal from the Supreme Court, Kings County (Goldberg, J.).

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant's contentions, he was not denied the effective assistance of counsel at trial. The record shows that defense counsel vigorously pursued all colorable claims (see, People v. Garcia, 75 N.Y.2d 973).

The defendant's remaining contentions are either unpreserved for appellate review or without merit. Mangano, P.J., Rosenblatt, Ritter and Copertino, JJ., concur.
