People v. Castillo

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, First Department
Jan 14, 1999
257 A.D.2d 446 (N.Y. App. Div. 1999)

Opinion

January 14, 1999.

Appeal from the Supreme Court, Bronx County (George Covington, J.).

The verdict was based on legally sufficient evidence and was not against the weight of the evidence ( People v. Bleakley, 69 N.Y.2d 490). We see no reason to disturb the jury's determinations regarding the credibility of witnesses and reliability of identification testimony.

Concur — Rosenberger, J.P., Nardelli, Williams and Rubin, JJ.
