Attorney Regulation

The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended Fredrick M. Callaway (Attorney Registration No. 10156) from the practice of law for a period of six months, with the requirement of reinstatement proceedings pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.29(c), effective June 19, 2008. Respondent knowingly engaged in misconduct in five client matters. In each of the matters, Respondent harmed the system of justice by failing to address several of his client's needs and by failing to cooperate with the People in their investigation. His misconduct constituted grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 1.3, 1.4(a) and (b), 1.6, 1.15, 1.16(d), 4.4, 8.1(b) and 8.4(d).
