ORDER

Stephen L. Borrello, Chief Judge Pro Tem, acting under MCR 7.211(E), MCR 7.217, and MCR 7.219(I), orders:

The motion to extend time to file appellant's brief until July 12, 2024 is DENIED AS MOOT because the brief was not filed by that date.

Further, these cases are REMANDED to the trial court for the appointment of substitute counsel, current counsel having failed to timely file the brief on appeal.

Current appointed counsel may file a motion for reconsideration within 21 days after the date of this order. MCR 7.215(I)(1). Such a motion will be more likely to be granted if it is accompanied by an appellant's brief.
