Attorney Regulation.

The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and publicly censured Richard Kenneth Blundell (Attorney Registration No. 10358), effective May 22, 2007. Respondent negligently failed to supervise a paralegal who continued to negotiate and eventually settle a personal injury case with an insurance company after Respondent's client died from an illness unrelated to the accident. He also negligently failed to maintain adequate communication with his client. Respondent's misconduct constituted grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 5.3(b) and Colo. RPC 1.4(a) and (b).
