On order of the Court, the delayed application for leave to appeal from the October 6, 2000 decision of the Court of Appeals is considered, and, pursuant to MCR 7.302(F)(1), in lieu of granting leave to appeal, we REMAND this case to the Court of Appeals for reconsideration. On reconsideration, the Court shall amplify its opinion by expressly indicating its consideration of the factors outlined by this Court inPeople v Poole, 444 Mich. 151 (1993) regarding the admissibility of such statements, and by applying those factors to this case. In all other respects, the application for leave to appeal is DENIED.
We do not retain jurisdiction.
Cavanagh and Kelly, JJ., would grant leave to appeal.
