YEGAN, J.
Lester Eugene Beasley appeals from the judgment entered following his conviction by a jury of being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition. (Pen. Code, § 12316, subd. (b)(1). Appellant admitted allegations of having served two prior prison terms. (Pen. Code, § 667.5, subd. (b).)
When appellant committed the offense, he was on active parole. He was sentenced to prison for four years: the two-year middle term plus one year for each of the two prior prison terms. Appellant received 182 days of presentence custody credits (122 days of actual custody plus 60 days of conduct credits).
The trial evidence showed that the police had found 13 rounds of ammunition inside a toolbox in appellant's apartment. The parties stipulated that appellant had previously been convicted of a felony. During closing argument, defense counsel argued that the jury should find appellant not guilty because there was a reasonable doubt whether he knew that the toolbox contained ammunition.
We appointed counsel to represent appellant in this appeal. After examination of the record, counsel filed an opening brief in which no issues were raised.
On November 26, 2008, we advised appellant that he had 30 days within which to personally submit any contentions or issues he wished us to consider. No response has been received.
We have examined the entire record and are satisfied that appellant's appointed counsel has fully complied with her responsibilities and that no arguable issues exist. (People v. Kelly (2006) 40 Cal.4th 106, 123-124; People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436.)
The judgment is affirmed.
