         ORDER

        This cause coming to be heard on the motion of the petitioner, the People of the State of Illinois, a response having been filed by the respondent, Dionna Beachem, and the court being fully advised in the premises;         IT IS ORDERED that the motion for summary remand to the Appellate Court. First District, in light of this court's recent decisions in People v. Ford, 198 Ill.2d 68, 260 Ill.Dec. 552, 761 N.E.2d 735 (2001): People v. Hopkins, 201 Ill.2d 26, 265 Ill.Dec. 869, 773 N.E.2d 633 (2002); and People v. Rogers, 197 Ill.2d 216, 258 Ill.Dec. 557, 756 N.E.2d 831 (2001) is denied.

        On the court's own motion, the petition for leave to appeal is denied. In the exercise of this court's supervisory authority, the Appellate Court, First District, is directed to vacate its judgment in People v. Beachem, 317 Ill.App.3d 693, 251 Ill.Dec. 308, 740 N.E.2d 389 (2000), and to reconsider in light of People v. Ford, 198 Ill.2d 68, 260 Ill.Dec. 552, 761 N.E.2d 735 (2001); People v. Hopkins, 201 Ill.2d 26, 265 Ill.Dec. 869, 773 N.E.2d 633 (2002); and People v. Rogers, 197 Ill.2d 216, 258 Ill.Dec. 557, 756 N.E.2d 831 (2001).

        Order entered by the court.
