Opinion

Motion No: 2015-00939 SCR

07-28-2015

The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v. Jason Bauer, Appellant.

JERRY GARGUILO

FRANCESCA E. CONNOLLY, JJ.

DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal from judgments of conviction of the District Court of Suffolk County, Suffolk County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency, rendered January 29, 2015. The judgments convicted appellant of operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, respectively.

On the court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the appeal is dismissed.

So much of the appeal as is from the judgment convicting defendant of operating a motor vehicle without insurance is dismissed as moot, as that judgment of conviction was vacated by order of the District Court dated July 9, 2015. So much of the appeal as is from the judgment convicting defendant of operating an unregistered motor vehicle is dismissed as abandoned, as appellant's brief raises no issue with respect thereto.
