The People of the State of New York, Respondent, SEALED v. Anthony C., Defendant-Appellant.


Defendant-appellant, via retained counsel, having moved for an enlargement of time to (1) perfect the purported appeal taken from an interlocutory evidentiary order of the Supreme Court, Bronx County, entered on or about August 7, 2018, and (2) leave to appeal from an order, same Court, entered on or about January 18, 2019, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon, It is ordered that the branch of the motion seeking an enlargement of time to perfect the purported appeal taken from the non-final order entered on or about August 7, 2018 is denied and, sua sponte, the appeal from that order is dismissed. It is further ordered that the branch of the motion seeking an enlargement of time to seek leave to appeal from the order entered on or about January 18, 2019 is denied as academic (See, M-1214, entered April 11, 2019).
