MOTION DECISION

Present - Hon. Sallie Manzanet-Daniels, Justice Presiding, David Friedman Peter H. Moulton Saliann Scarpulla John R. Higgitt, Justices.

An appeal having been taken to this Court from a judgment of the Supreme Court, New York County, rendered on or about December 12, 2018,

And defendant-appellant having moved for an extension of time to perfect the aforesaid appeal (Motion No. 2023-00777), And defendant-appellant having separately moved to seal the record on appeal and to submit defendant to proceed with the appeal anonymously (Motion No. 2023-01093), Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motions, and due deliberation having been had thereon,

It is ordered that defendant's motion for an extension of time to perfect the appeal is granted and the time to perfect same is extended to the September 2023 Term of this Court (M-2023-00777). Defendant's motion to seal the record on appeal and to proceed anonymously is granted to the extent that the records on appeal, all briefs and orders, as well as all future filings are to be sealed. The Clerk of the Court is directed to calendar the appeal under People v Anonymous, and all records pertaining to this case are to refer to appellant as "Anonymous."
