PEOPLE OF MICHIGAN v. RUTH ANN AMO

LC No. 2021-002326-FH.

ORDER

Elizabeth L. Gleicher, Chief Judge, acting under MCR 7.203(F)(1), orders:

The claim of appeal is DISMISSED for lack of jurisdiction. MCR 7.203(A)(1). The February 1, 2022, order denying the motion in limine to admit John Robert Tenny's criminal history to establish a defense of necessity is not a final order as defined in MCR 7.202(6)(b) and, therefore, it is not appealable of right by Filing a claim of appeal. MCR 7.203(A). At this time, appellant may seek to appeal the February 1, 2022, order only by filing an application for leave to appeal or a delayed application for leave to appeal, whichever is appropriate under the circumstances.
