53 A.D.3d 665 (N.Y. App. Div. 2008)

Opinion

No. 2007-04609.

July 29, 2008.

Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Hanophy, J.), rendered March 29, 2007, convicting him of man-slaughter in the first degree, upon his plea of guilty, and imposing sentence.

Lynn W. L. Fahey, New York, N.Y. (David P. Greenberg of counsel), for appellant.

Richard A. Brown, District Attorney, Kew Gardens, N.Y. (Gary Fidel and Ayelet Sela of counsel), for respondent.

Before: Fisher, J.P., Covello, Angiolillo and Balkin, JJ.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant knowingly, voluntarily, and intelligently waived his right to appeal ( see People v Ramos, 7 NY3d 737, 738). Inasmuch as the issues he seeks to raise are encompassed within that valid waiver, we will not review them.
