ORDER MODIFYING OPINION AND DENYING REHEARING [NO CHANGE IN JUDGMENT]
THE COURT:
Stein, Acting P. J.
It is ordered that the opinion filed herein on November 17, 2006 (144 CaI.App.4th 1155; __Cal.Rptr.3d__ ), be modified as follows, and the petition for rehearing is DENIED:
1. The opening paragraph on page 1 [144 Cal.App.4th 1157, advance report, 1st full par., line 3] should be modified to read: “Defendant Farooq A. Aleem appeals from convictions of multiple counts of sexual and related offenses against two young women, identified as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2.” A footnote should be added after the words “Jane Doe 2,” reciting:
“Defendant also was charged with offenses against a third young woman, Jane Doe 3, but the jury hung on all charges involving her, except for a charge of assault to commit oral copulation, on which they returned a verdict of not guilty. The court declared a mistrial as to the other charges.”
2. The first full paragraph of the facts, including the heading, [144 Cal.App.4th 1157, advance report, in the unpublished portion] “Jane Doe J,” should be deleted.
3. On pages 5-6, [144 Cal.App.4th 1157, advance report, in the unpublished portion] the first two sentences under the heading, “Verdict,” should be deleted. The next sentence should be modified to recite: “The jury convicted defendant of a number of counts involving both victims or related to crimes against the victims.”
Footnote 1 on page 5 will now be renumbered footnote 2, and should follow the modified sentence above.
There is no change in the judgment.
