THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, RESPONDENT, v. CASHMEIRE ALBERT, DEFENDANT-APPELLANT.


PRESENT:

Counsel for appellant having moved for permission to withdraw as assigned counsel on, and respondent having cross-moved for dismissal of, an appeal taken from a judgment of Onondaga County Court, rendered August 14, 2017,

on the grounds that the appellant has abandoned the appeal,

Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon,

It is hereby ORDERED that the motion is granted to the extent that Philip Rothschild, Esq. is relieved of his assignment, and

It is further ORDERED that if appellant fails to perfect on or before June 1, 2020, the cross-motion is granted and the appeal is hereby dismissed without further order.
