PEOPLE OF MICHIGAN v. TAVYN DANIEL ABRAMS

LC No. 22-006310-FH

ORDER

Michael F. Gadola, Chief Judge, acting under MCR 7.211(E)(2), orders:

The motion for guidance from the Court is GRANTED as follows. This appeal is administratively CLOSED without prejudice because there appears specific reason for concern that defendant may be effectively unable to communicate with counsel regarding this appeal due to circumstances beyond his voluntary control. The closure does not constitute a dismissal or a decision on the merits. The case may be reopened on motion of counsel if at a future point defendant is able to effectively communicate with counsel and wishes to pursue this appeal.
