MEMORANDUM:
Petitioner's appeal from the judgment dismissing his petition for a writ of habeas corpus has been rendered moot inasmuch as he reached the maximum expiration date of his sentence and was released from custody on May 18, 2012 ( see People ex rel. Kent v. New York State Div. of Parole, 87 A.D.3d 1205, 1206, 929 N.Y.S.2d 776;People ex rel. Brown v. LaClair, 74 A.D.3d 1642, 1643, 902 N.Y.S.2d 457;People ex rel. Dickerson v. Unger, 62 A.D.3d 1262, 1263, 877 N.Y.S.2d 727,lv. denied12 N.Y.3d 716, 884 N.Y.S.2d 692, 912 N.E.2d 1073), and none of the issues raised herein fall within the exception to the mootness doctrine ( see Matter of Hearst Corp. v. Clyne, 50 N.Y.2d 707, 714–715, 431 N.Y.S.2d 400, 409 N.E.2d 876;see generally Dickerson, 62 A.D.3d at 1263, 877 N.Y.S.2d 727;People ex rel. Faison v. Travis, 277 A.D.2d 916, 916, 715 N.Y.S.2d 672,lv. denied96 N.Y.2d 705, 725 N.Y.S.2d 277, 748 N.E.2d 1073).
It is hereby ORDERED that said appeal is unanimously dismissed without costs.
