This case is calendared for trial at the Court's February 13, 2023, Atlanta, Georgia Trial Session.
On December 7, 2022, docket entry 30, petitioner filed a Motion for Continuance indicating that she is in the process of obtaining documents pertaining to this case.
By Order dated December 12, 2022, docket entry 32, the Court directed respondent, on or before January 9, 2023, to file with the Court a response to petitioner's Motion for Continuance, filed December 7, 2022, docket entry 30, and attach thereto a Status Report as to the then-present status of this case.
On January 6, 2023, docket entry 33, respondent filed a Response to Order respondent by January 9, 2023, file a response to motion for continuance indicating that if petitioner provides documents showing 2010 expenses that offset petitioner's income, the parties can reach a settlement.
On January 20, 2023, docket entry 34, respondent filed a Status Report indicating that respondent believes a continuance is necessary.
After due consideration, and for cause, it is
ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is retained by this Division of the Court until further notice. It is further
ORDERED that the petitioner's Motion for Continuance of Trial, filed December 7, 2022, docket entry 30, is granted in that this case is stricken for trial from the February 13, 2023, Atlanta, Georgia Trial Session and this case is continued. It is further
ORDERED that, on or before April 25, 2023, the parties shall submit decision documents or file a Joint Status Report with the Court as to the then-present status of this case. It is further
ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court shall attach to petitioner's copy of this Order information concerning Tax Clinics available for Atlanta, Georgia.
