The lower-numbered six of these cases were on the March 6, 2023 Dallas trial calendar. Six later cases were then assigned to this division of the Court and the place of trial was changed to Houston. When we spoke with the parties last month all agreed to get all 12 cases on the same status-report track and then check in again in February to better predict whether they are headed to settlement. They recently reported they continue to talk, and have even begun making tentative computations. They reasonably suggest reporting again in late June, and it is
ORDERED that on or before June 20, 2023 the parties shall file a status report describing their progress and predictions about how the cases can move forward.
