Appellant has filed a motion to dismiss this appeal because the trial court granted his motion for new trial. The granting of appellant's motion for new trial makes any appeal from the original judgment moot. See TEX. R. APP. P. 21.9(b). The motion is granted, and this appeal is dismissed. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.2(a).
