Opinion

CASE NO. 205 CRD-6-83

JANUARY 21, 1987

The claimant was represented by Timothy Sheehan, Esq., Rosenzweig, Fagan Sheehan.

The respondents were represented by Helen Haynes, Esq., Trowbridge, Ide Greenwald.

This Petition for Review from the February 15, 1983 Finding and Award entered by the Commissioner at Large, Acting for the Sixth District was heard September 19, 1984 by a Compensation Review Division panel consisting of the Commission Chairman, John Arcudi and Commissioners A. Paul Berte and Gerald Kolinsky.

DISMISSAL OF APPEAL

Claimant's Petition for Review from a February 15, 1983 Finding and Award was filed February 18, 1983. Simultaneously she filed a Motion for a thirty (30) day extension of time to file Reasons of Appeal. No Reasons of Appeal were filed until July 31, 1984. Since the late filing of the Reasons of Appeal does not comply with Administrative Regulations 31-301-2 this appeal is procedurally defective. Domizio v. Domizio Enterprises, Inc., 306 CRD-5-84, 3 Conn. Workers' Comp. Rev. Op. 19 (1985), Johnson v. Courtland Gardens Convalescent Home, 154 CRD-7-82, 2 Conn. Workers' Comp. Rev. Op. 82 (1984).

The appeal is therefore dismissed.

Commissioners A. Paul Berte and Gerald Kolinsky concur.
