By order dated May 29, 2024, we abated this appeal to allow time for the parties to finalize a settlement agreement. In that order, we directed the parties to file either a motion to dismiss or a status report by July 22, 2024. To date, the parties have failed to do so. Accordingly, we ORDER appellants to file either a motion to dismiss or a status report regarding settlement proceedings within TEN DAYS of the date of this order. Failure to do so may result in the dismissal of this appeal without further notice. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3(c).
