Shannon Lee PARKER, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 216th Judicial District Court, Kerr County, Texas
Trial Court No. A12675
Honorable N. Keith Williams, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Appellant's brief was originally due to be filed on February 21, 2017. On May 23, 2017, we ordered appellant to file appellant's brief no later than June 2, 2017. We warned that Appellant's failure to file the brief would result in this court considering the appeal without briefs and without the reporter's record.

On June 8, 2017, Appellant filed a motion for extension of time to hire counsel. On June 12, 2017, Attorney John Hoover filed an appearance of counsel with this court. Appellant's motion for extension of time is GRANTED. The appellant's brief must be filed with this court not later than July 10, 2017. Further requests for extensions of time will be disfavored.

Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 16th day of June, 2017.
