PER CURIAM

Appellee Barry Parker has filed an unopposed motion to abate the appeal, stating that the parties have agreed to mediate the disputes involved in this appeal, the outcome of which could render the appeal moot. To maintain the status quo pending mediation, and to preserve the rights of all parties, appellee asks that the appeal be abated pending mediation. We grant the motion and abate the appeal. Appellee is ordered to file a status report on the progress of the mediation and settlement no later than February 7, 2018. All appellate deadlines will be tolled during the pendency of the abatement. Before Justices Puryear, Pemberton, and Bourland Abated Filed: January 25, 2018
