This case was previously calendared for trial at the Court's April 20, 2020, San Francisco, California, trial session. By Order dated March 17, 2020, that trial session was cancelled due to concerns relating to coronavirus (COVID-19), this case was continued, and assigned to the undersigned judge.
On June 30, 2022, the parties filed a Motion to Submit Case pursuant to Rule 122. On July 6, 2022, the Court granted the parties' motion and directed that on or before, September 28, 2022, the parties shall file their respective Simultaneous Opening Briefs and that on or before November 14, 2022, the parties shall file their respective Simultaneous Answering Briefs. On September 30, 2022, the Court issued an Order extending the time within which that the parties were to file their respective briefs.
On October 12 and 13, respondent and petitioners filed their Simultaneous Opening Briefs, respectively.
On November 22, 2022, petitioners filed a Motion for Extension of Time, requesting additional time to file their respective Simultaneous Answering Brief. In that motion, petitioners request that the deadline for the filing of the parties' respective Simultaneous Answering Brief be extended to December 28, 2022. Additionally, petitioners represented that respondent does not object to a granting of petitioners' Motion for Extension of Time.
On November 23, 2022, petitioner's counsel contacted the Court and stated that petitioners' Motion for Extension of Time had recently been filed and asked the Court of its intention on the granting of petitioners' motion.
For cause, it is
ORDERED that petitioners' Motion for Extension of Time filed November 22, 2022, is granted. It is further
ORDERED that the time within which the parties shall file their respective Simultaneous Answering Briefs is extended to and including December 28, 2022.
