CORRECTED ORDER
STAY ORDER
In order to maintain the status quo, the Court, on its own motion, enjoins the Respondent, Secretary of State and Respondent, the Elections Canvassing Commission from certifying the results of the November 7, 2000, presidential election, until further order of this Court. It is NOT the intent of this Order to stop the counting and conveying to the Secretary of State the results of absentee ballots or any other ballots.

ORDER ACCEPTING JURISDICTION. SETTING ORAL ARGUMENT AND SETTING BRIEFING SCHEDULE
The District Court of Appeal, First District, has certified, pursuant to article V, Section 3 (b)(5) of the Constitution of Florida, that the order of the trial court in this Court's Case No. SC00-2348 passes upon a question of great public importance requiring immediate resolution by this Court. We accept jurisdiction.
The above cases are consolidated for all appellate purposes.
The Court will hear oral argument at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2000. Two attorneys for each party and one party representative may attend oral argument.
A maximum of one hour to the side is allowed, but counsel is expected to use only so much of that time as is necessary. Each party is responsible for apportioning the time allowed.
The Clerk's Office will be open Saturday and Sunday, November 18 and 19, 2000, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Court's Public Information Office will be open during the same hours.
Initial briefs on the merits shall be filed by 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2000; answer briefs on the merits shall be filed by 12:00 noon Sunday, November 19, 2000, and the reply brief on the merits shall be filed by 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2000. Please file an original and seven copies of all briefs. Per this Court's Administrative Order In Re: Mandatory Submission of Briefs on Computer Diskette dated February 5, 1999, counsel are directed to include a copy of all briefs on a DOS formatted 3-1/2 inch diskette in Word Perfect 5.1 (or higher) format. PLEASE LABEL ENVELOPE TO AVOID ERASURE. Appendices and exhibits should also be submitted on diskette, if possible. UNLESS BRIEFS ARE TIMELY FILED, THE PRIVILEGE OF ORAL ARGUMENT WILL BE FORFEITED.
The Clerk of the Circuit Court of the Second Judicial Circuit in and for Leon County, Florida shall file the original record by 12:00 noon Saturday, November 18, 2000.
