MIGUEL PADRON, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Kathleen Kerrigan, Chief Judge

On June 14, 2021, petitioner filed an imperfect petition to commence this case. The filing fee for this case was not paid. By Order issued September 10, 2021, the Court directed petitioner to file an amended petition and to pay the Court's $60.00 filing fee. No response was received from petitioner.

By Order of Dismissal for Lack of Jurisdiction entered August 5, 2022, this case was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction on the ground that petitioner failed to pay the Court's filing fee for this case. The filing fee has since been received. However, petitioner has not yet filed an amended petition, as directed by the Court.

In view of the foregoing, it is

ORDERED that, on the Court's own motion, the Court's Order of Dismissal for Lack of Jurisdiction entered August 5, 2022, is vacated and set aside. It is further

ORDERED that the time within which petitioner shall file a proper amended petition (see form attached) is extended to September 8, 2022. In filing his amended petition, petitioner is reminded to use the docket number noted above. Failure to comply with this Order may result in the dismissal of this case for lack of jurisdiction.
