This collection case currently is set for trial at the Court's September 9, 2024, Los Angeles, California trial session. On April 19, 2024, respondent filed a Motion to Dismiss on Ground of Mootness. Petitioners filed their Opposition to Motion to Dismiss on Ground of Mootness on May 24, 2024. Additionally, respondent filed a Motion for Summary Judgment on May 29, 2024, to which petitioners responded with their Opposition to Motion for Summary Judgment on July 1, 2024. To clarify petitioners' contentions regarding the notices at issue in this case (including the underlying notices of deficiency) and to determine whether summary judgment or remand would be appropriate, upon due consideration and for cause, it is hereby
