Jacob Michael OVERGARD, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 198th Judicial District Court, Kerr County, Texas Trial Court No. B20302 Honorable M. Patrick Maguire, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Rebeca C. Martinez, Chief Justice

On May 3, 2024, appellant filed an unopposed motion for additional time to file his brief. Appellant's request is premature because, to date, neither the clerk's record nor the reporter's record has been filed. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6(a) (specifying deadline to file appellant's brief in non-accelerated appeal is thirty days after clerk's record and reporter's record have been filed). Therefore, appellant's motion is DENIED without prejudice to appellant seeking relief, as necessary, at the appropriate time.
