This case is calendared for trial during the Court's remote Special Trial Session commencing on Monday, April 18, 2022, at a time and date certain of 9:00 a.m. CT (10:00 a.m. ET). Petitioner Ralph Ottuso originally requested a place of trial in New York City, New York and resided there when he filed his petition. Mr. Ottuso now lives in Oklahoma, which is in the central time zone.
On March 30, 2022, petitioner Ralph Ottuso informally contacted the Court requesting his case be continued for thirty (30) days, so that he would have adequate time to prepare his case for trial. The Court was advised that respondent did not object.
Therefore, the Court will strike this case from the April 18, 2022, Denver, Colorado remote trial calendar and schedule this case anew at the Court's remote Special Trial Session commencing on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at a time and date certain of 9:00 a.m. CT (10:00 a.m. ET for the New York City, New York participants). For that remote session, Washington DC is listed as the place of trial; however, as Court now allows trials to be conducted remotely, the place of trial is so listed for administrative purposes only.
A Standing Pretrial Order will be separately served on the parties. The Court requests that the parties follow that Standing Pretrial Order for the Court's May 18, 2022, Washington, DC Remote Special Trial Session.
After due consideration, and for cause, it is
ORDERED that this case is continued, sua sponte, and jurisdiction is retained by the undersigned. It is further
ORDERED that this case is stricken for trial at a time and date certain beginning on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. CT (10:00 a.m. ET) from the Court's Denver, Colorado remote Special Trial Session. It is further
ORDERED that this case is set for trial at the Court's Washington, DC, remote Special Trial Session at a time and date certain commencing on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. CT (10:00 a.m. ET, for the New York City, New York and Washington, DC participants). It is further
ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court shall also serve on the parties a Notice of Remote Proceeding that shall contain comprehensive instructions on how to participate in the above-referenced remote proceeding, and the Standing Pretrial Order for Washington, DC.
