ORDER

Section 22.011 of the Texas Penal Code defines "child" as "a person younger than 17 years of age." See TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. § 22.011(c)(1) (West 2013). Appellant was convicted of continuous sexual abuse of a child. Id. § 21.02. In his brief, appellant refers to the victim by name.

Accordingly, we STRIKE appellant's brief filed December 20, 2017.

We ORDER appellant to file, within FIFTEEN DAYS of the date of this order, an amended brief that identifies the child victim either generically ("victim") or by initials only.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to David Breston and the Collin County District Attorney's Office.
