MEMORANDUM OPINION

Appellant, Javier Chavez Ontiveros, has filed in this court a motion to dismiss his appeal. In the motion, Appellant requests that this court withdraw his notice of appeal and dismiss the appeal in this cause. Attached to the motion is a handwritten letter from Appellant to his appellate counsel. In that letter, Appellant states that he would "like to cancel the appeal." In compliance with Rule 42.2 of the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure, the motion is signed by Appellant's counsel, and the letter attached to the motion is signed by Appellant.

The motion is granted, and the appeal is dismissed.
