BRANDIE OLIVAREZ, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee
On Appeal from the Criminal District Court No. 4 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause Nos. F-1845948-K, F-1914136-K
ORDER
ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE
Before us is appellant's March 13, 2024 motion for extension of time and to file the tendered briefs. We DENY appellant's motion because appellant failed to file briefs in these two cases. On March 11, 2024, we ordered appellant to file corrected briefs in these cases within three days. As of the date of this order, appellant has failed to comply with this Court's order.
We ORDER appellant to file corrected briefs pursuant to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 9 in these cases within three days of the date of this order.
If appellant's briefs are not filed within three days of the date of this order, this appeal will be abated for the trial court to make findings in accordance with rule of appellate procedure 38.8. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(b)(2).
