Opinion

No. 3D08-86.

April 9, 2008. Rehearing Denied June 5, 2008.

An Appeal under Florida Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.141(b)(2) from the Circuit Court for Miami-Dade County, Lawrence A. Schwartz, Judge.

Reemberto A. Olazabal, in proper person.

Bill McCollum, Attorney General, for appellee.

Before SHEPHERD, SUAREZ, and SCHWARTZ, JJ.

Defendant has shown good cause why his appeal was not timely filed and we grant his request and accept the filing of his belated appeal. We find no merit to the appeal and therefore affirm the trial court on the merits.

Affirmed.
