ORDER Trial court case number: 1439656 Trial court: 179th District Court of Harris County

On March 16, 2021, this Court issued an order abating the appeal and remanding to the trial court for appointment of appellate counsel pro tem for the State. On March 22, 2021, a supplemental clerk's record was filed containing an order recusing the district attorney and appointing Brian Middleton as appellate district attorney pro tem.

Accordingly, we reinstate the case on the active docket. The State's brief is due within 30 days of the date of filing of the supplemental clerk's record, or by April 21, 2021.
