  2. Fulmer v. Louisville N. R. Co.

152 So. 148 (La. Ct. App. 1934)   Cited 2 times
In Fulmer v. Louisville Nashville R. R. Company, La.App., 152 So. 148, the plaintiff sustained a fracture of the forearm and an award of $1,945 was reduced to $1,000.

The claim is for assault and battery and pain and suffering. There is no claim for medical expenses or loss of earnings. We are of the opinion that the amount allowed is excessive and that it should be reduced to $1,000, which we believe to be fair and reasonable. Nuss v.
