Jonathan Bates NUNEMAKER, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 454th Judicial District Court, Medina County, Texas Trial Court No. 23-07-14823-CR Honorable Daniel J. Kindred, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Beth Watkins Justice

The trial court imposed sentence in the underlying cause on May 9, 2024. Because appellant did not timely file a motion for new trial, his notice of appeal was due by June 10, 2024. Tex.R.App.P. 26.2(a)(1). A motion for extension of time to file the notice of appeal was due by June 25, 2024. See id. R. 26.3. Appellant filed a notice of appeal and a motion for extension of time on June 19, 2024. Because appellant timely filed the motion for extension of time to file his notice of appeal, we GRANT the motion for extension of time and deem appellant's notice of appeal timely filed.

The reporter's record is now due. We ORDER court reporters Lisa Greenwalt and Sherry Gentry to file either their volumes of the reporter's record or a notification of late record by August 14, 2024.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 15th day of July, 2024.
