NORMA DEAN I, LLC, NORMA DEAN I INVESTORS, LLC, TAX MATTERS PARTNER Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge

This case is one of a possibly related pair of syndicated conservation-easement cases on the Court's October 24, 2022 trial calendar for Atlanta, Georgia. The parties moved for a continuance to try to settle. We spoke with them today about how the case is likely to develop, and we agree that it makes sense to try to settle at IRS Appeals. Because that process will take some time, it's reasonable to move the case to a longer term status-report track and it is

ORDERED that the parties' August 8, 2022 motion for continuance is granted in that this case is stricken from the Court's October 24, 2022 trial calendar. It is also

ORDERED that this division of the Court retains jurisdiction. It is also

ORDERED that on or before March 17, 2023 the parties shall submit settlement documents or file a status report describing their progress at IRS Appeals.
