This appeal challenges the trial court's June 28, 2022 order compelling post-judgment discovery in aid of enforcement of a superseded judgment. The superseded judgment is the subject of appellate cause number 05-20-00379-CV, and appellants have also challenged the appealed order here in that appeal by way of a motion for review under Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 24.2 and petition for writ of injunction. Appellate cause number 05-20-00379-CV has been submitted, but an opinion has not yet issued.
Before the Court is appellants' August 8, 2022 unopposed motion to abate this appeal pending disposition of appellate cause number 05-20-00379-CV. We GRANT the motion and DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send a copy of this order to Dallas County District Clerk Felicia Pitre; Tina Thompson, Official Court Reporter for the 134th Judicial District Court; and, the parties.
We SUSPEND the deadline for filing the appellate record and ABATE the appeal. The Court will reinstate the appeal and will set any appropriate new deadlines upon motion or the opinion in appellate cause number 05-20-00379-CV being issued.
