ORDER
Vincent Newman appeals the denial after an evidentiary hearing of his Rule 29.15 amended motion for post-conviction relief in which he alleged that trial counsel was ineffective (1) for promising the jury the alibi testimony of a witness who then did not appear, and (2) for failing to strike a juror who was uncertain whether her brother's murder five years earlier would affect her ability to remain unbiased. We affirm because the record demonstrates that trial counsel's actions were based in sound trial strategy and Newman has failed to show how, if at all, these actions resulted in prejudice against him.
An extended opinion would have no precedential value. The parties have been furnished with a memorandum for their information only, setting forth the reasons for this order pursuant to Rule 84.16(b).
