Before Judges Parrillo and Skillman.
On appeal from Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part, Camden County, Docket No. FN-04-165-10.
Joseph E. Krakora, Public Defender, attorney for appellant (Anthony J. Vecchio, Designated Counsel, on the brief).
Jeffrey S. Chiesa, Attorney General, attorney for respondent (Lewis A. Scheindlin, Assistant Attorney General, of counsel; Alexandra Oasin, Deputy Attorney General, on the brief).
Joseph E. Krakora, Public Defender, Law Guardian, attorney for minor H.M. (Olivia Belfatto Crisp, Assistant Deputy Public Defender, on the brief). PER CURIAM
Defendant B.M. appeals from a final order of the Family Part terminating this abuse or neglect action brought under Title 9 "because . . . a complaint for Termination of Parental Rights [had] been filed." That complaint resulted in the entry on February 3, 2012 of a final judgment terminating B.M.'s parental rights to the child who was the subject of the Title 9 abuse or neglect action and granting guardianship to the Division of Youth and Family Services. Based on the filing of the action under Title 30 for the termination of parental rights, which has now resulted in the entry of a final judgment, this appeal is moot. See N.J. Div. of Youth & Family Servs. v. A.P., 408 N.J. Super. 253, 261-64 (App. Div. 2009), certif. denied, 201 N.J. 153 (2010).
Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed as moot.
